The far majority of ergonomic keyboards do not address the fact that typing with your hands facing down is unnatural. It narrows the carpal canal, compressing the median nerve, which causes carpal tunnel pain. Consider: Let your arms hang down at your sides and then, without twisting your wrists, bring your forearms up by bending your elbows to 90 degrees. This is the most natural position in which your wrists can be. For most people in this position, one's palms are almost facing each other - they are not facing down.
Each section of the keyboard is easy to reposition and surprisingly mobile. You can tilt each forward, back, left, and right, and twist clockwise or counter-clockwise. You can start with the keys laying flat as with a normal keyboard and gradually tilt them away from each other as you become more comfortable typing in the new location. There are no dinky drivers to worry about: key remapping is done by hitting a certain key sequence explained in the manual. The keyboard then sends out the modified character code to whichever computer it's connected to until you change the key again or reset the keyboard to default. The Space Bars are easily extendable for those with large hands.
